How to use this website

These pages are where you will find current vacancies within the Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service.

If you see a vacancy that interests you on our pages, you will be able to view the vacancy details and job description and complete the application form online.

You will need to register with the site before you can apply for a vacancy. Do this by clicking on the ‘register now’ button and following the on screen instructions. Once you have registered, you will be able to apply for jobs, save them to your jobs' basket and sign up for job alerts.

Once you have applied for a vacancy, you will receive message updates to your account and also to your email address. It is important that you check your account regularly once you have applied for a job.

Please note that we are currently working on introducing responsive designs across our careers site and application forms.  In the meantime, for the best user experience, we recommend candidates use a desktop or laptop when applying for vacancies.
